In a continued effort to enhance service for GM Dealers, GM Financial, in partnership with RouteOne, now offers Retail and Lease eContracting.

Lease eContracting with RouteOne

"Lease eContracting is the next step in moving toward a digital funding solution," said Mike Urrutia, SVP Dealer Services. "As GM's captive lender, funding, speed and accuracy are more important than ever. We plan to have lease eContracting available for all dealers and providers in 2017."

eContracting helps dealers by providing a more convenient and quicker method of submitting contracts to GM Financial. The overall digital contracting process will help to modernize the F&I experience in GM dealerships.

Additional eContracting benefits include:

  • Enables same-day funding based on customer signature date
  • Improves CSI leading to increased customer retention
  • Eliminates overnight package courier fees
  • Eliminates contract errors and returned contracts
  • Fewer held offerings advancing to a more efficient CIT process
  • The first step towards an F&I paperless process

"Moving from a 100-percent paper-based process to a 100-percent digital process is going to be extremely helpful from an efficiency standpoint," said Jeff Lively, VP Dealer Services. "eContracting is just one step on a path that will lead us to the next generation of digital contracting."
